Angel, if you have set it so that you get the maximum number of threads on a page, like I did when it was suggested, I think this hurts your eyes more cos you are whizzin through so many threads.I have changed mine back cos i think your eyes get a rest when you go to the next page.He who smiles rather than rages is always

Yes I have, it was all that whizzin that made me dizzy! Good idea to change it back when searching for something.:smileyhea "here, hare, here" :smileyhea0 -
Ragtimeplayer wrote:I then went to the photo booth to return 2 td items in exchange for more N07 and had such a stressful time. The SA who is usually so nice, was adamant that the creams were classed as cosmetics and not skincare and therefore could not be exchanged or returned.
The supervisor agreed it was classed as cosmetics and did not want to exchange and kept asking why I wanted to return them. I didn't move and she eventually came out with the stock phrase of, we'll do it for you this one time. ( cue secret grin from me)
Sorry if I'm mixing you up with another poster, but thought you'd took back TD before with no problems? Call Customer Care and ask them whether skincare is suitable for return. They told me it certainly was. If TD is "cosmetics" why is it displayed in the skincare section? Is handcream or body lotion a cosmetic?
Also remember if they give you any bull about "why" you wish to return them that each product carries a full money-back guarantee - whether they class it as skincare or cosmetic! Show any frosty SA the written guarantee - say you don't like it and aren't entirely satisfied, but don't have a receipt.I could go back and query the Hair Science but on the same receipt, it shows 900 points for the EI so I daren't!I could also query the lack of skincare voucher which I think she forgot as she was flustered at being overridden by her supervisor with the TD items but I don't think its worth the hassle.
Or just ask at the counter next time you're in there? So all in all, even though I had a lot of hassle, it was still worth it!

Say joining to get the 500 points and then a few months joining again to get the No7 Freebies.
Just curious. And if so did it work.

My kids are 18mths apart, I got 500 points for each of them when the club started. I actually managed to some how get 2x500 for each of them (no idea why). The first voucher I handed over to get the points the SA swiped it then gave me it back. i took the voucher back and used it again!
I feel a phantom pregnancy coming on.........Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!0 -

chachiluz wrote:I had what I :rotfl: thought It was a good shopping an extra 2791 points added mixture of EI and Trevor Sorbie, thanks to bham-dave who explain the difference and I managed to get 7 of the old minis, so I though good I buy up the value of 10 pounds and I'll get 4 off... I should had got a calculator as I asked the SA how much was all, she said eleven -- I forgot that I put the bodyform.....so when the bill came it was 16.64, but no deduction of 4 pounds.
Don't understand what went wrong there - are you sure you spent over £10 on Trevor Sorbie products? The whole "Trevor Sorbie mg" range is classed as mens toiletries. Can't remember anyone else saying they hadn't received the automatic £4 reduction.
Regarding TS and your other question about Avene, I haven't been into the City this week, but was going to go in tomorrow. Leave some on the shelves for me, please! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
