I had my lucky day yesterday (I guess I should have bought a lottery ticket or something!) I thought I would visit my local Boots to see what I could find cheap in there. Spent a small amount, including a free pack of bodyform, but at the till found a chocs voucher. No Chocs in that branch, but I was going to Victoria to meet my SD so took that with me, just in case. Found £1 at the Tube on the way. At Victoria found chocs plus more bodyform, walked through shopping centre and past a bigger boots, so more bodyform (I know this doesn't sound very lucky, but bear with me). Met SD and friend, and then while buying tickets home found £10! WOohoo! My total haul when I got home was £11.20 (I am that scanky person you see picking up pennies!) plus three bodyform plus chocs. I know it's not like winning a holiday, but little things...!

Yes me, a few weeks ago I was paying 50p or so for a TD item with voucher and he practically threw it at me across the counter.
He was the assistant manager or something, maybe it comes out of his profit targets!!
I pointedly said "thank you" to him.

After "buying" a few at Boots with vouchers on, went past Wilkinsons on the way back to the car, so thought I'd see whether they were selling it cheap too - which they were - 99p with the vouvher on as well - confused the SA, superviser and the till because the £1 voucher is a higher value than the product you're buying ("well that just can't be right" unquote!). They were convinced I was buying the wrong product, and after drawing the attention of half the shop to the lady buying sanitary towels, said that as the till had accepted it, they would have to let the transaction stand...
That happened to me the other day at Tescos when they were 98p. I was buying two packs and the SA got very suspicious. I was buying other shopping so it wasn't as if they were just giving me money back. She called over the supervisor saying that she was worried she'd end up "in the naughty book for making yet another mistake etc etc"! In the end they accepted it but worried my elderly aunt who was with me. They've put the price up in Tescos now anyway so think I'll stick with Boots.0 -

Also for info. do you know all the durex pack of 12 condoms are buy one and get one free mix and match.
Took advantage of this offer a month ago - had a contraceptive bar fitted on spur of the moment appt at docs the next day. So both packs unopened - so you think Boots would refund them? As im not going to use them during the next 3 years!0 -

Hi, Thanks to the O.P who informed us about the miniature FCUK products being accepted at the tills for the AD voucher @ 100 points.I noticed that if you buy 6 minnies and use your voucher , you not only get 100 points per item but the till takes off the £4 also as youare spending over £10,however , it does state that minnies don't qualify under the offer but the till accepts them under the offer. So 6x £1.75= £10.50- £4= £6.50 plus 600 points. I think thats a bargain...0
