    Hi everybody
had a pretty rubbish trip to Boots in Birmingham City Centre today. Honestly i must be the worst shopper around as i never seem to find any bargains(Sob, sob, sob!!) or we must have the rubbishest (that isnta real word is it??) Boots store in the world. I havent had an EI voucher, theres no old style TS, no hard candy makeup. NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING (i'm getting all jittery now as i need a BOOTs Fix :))
Please can someone tell me where to look as i went round the store twice today, i got some of the new style TS for hubby for valentines and after knocking off the £4 it came to £9.66!! stupid woman that i am, i didnt realise i should have picked up a couple of packs of chewing to push it over £10.00 to get the voucher!! and the crabby SA didnt say anything either. I also had a choccy voucher which i tried to use and she smugly told me that they had run out yesterday, so i was even more annoyed!! not a good day.
    i need a hug!
but well done to everyone else on getting the goodies.

Hi Brummiebird - hope you're not so jittery now!

Which Bham city store did you visit? (There's 7 to choose from!)

Always find the female SA's like to shout out how many points I have on my card and then I'm a nervous wreck in case someone overhears and mugs me for my card :blushing:
Why do they do that - announce to you how many points you have?

Are we incapable of reading receipts? :D

If there are new vouchers, it infers that they will still be handing them out till the end of month, presumably still with a £10 spend - but I guess the proof will be in the Bootsing over the next few days! ;)

It'll get posted here v. quick if a pattern of no vouchers were to happen.

  • Do you know? you get points when doing an E-top up and vouchers for pay as you go in boots. for eg. a 10 pound top up could fetch you 40 p back plus a 5 pound skin care voucher.
  • you still get the skin care voucher when you spend 10 pounds.

Also for info. do you know all the durex pack of 12 condoms are buy one and get one free mix and match.

Popped in last night. No EI voucher, and no interesting Click items on the shelves either. However, I did pick up a few bits that I needed, spent over £10 and got myself a box of chocs, and skincare voucher (used same day) as they were taking the signs down in the store.

Wonder if I'll end up going again later in the week....depends on what people find I suppose.

Hurray - gt another EI Voucher today on my card ( not on hubbys though - his offers are rubbish!), also got the razor one. Got 8 Ei items - hand wash and bubble bath, had a 75points coupon too and 100 razor one - got 1494 points in total for £16.74 spend. Also got these lovely oil burner gift sets - they are called Organic Blue Burner - they come in a white organza bag, these are down from £10 to £2.49 but are on 3 for 2. The SA was lovely today - told me they were on 3 for 2, I had put three in just in case - but at least he said. He gave me the skincare voucher, which I used on reduced Aderma product - half price to £4.70 - he wasn't sure if it would work but said he would give it a try anyway. What a difference from my frosty face I had to deal with last week. That was the Glasgow Braehead store - there was loads of reduced Aderma and Elizabeth Arden items up at the back on the left hand side.

Amanda -was your 1st EI voucher recently? thanks for the braehead tip i will visit on Friday and use my skincare vouchers. I'd like another EI voucher as I accidently bought some hand and body cream instead of handwash and now realise they look lovely together on the sink and is great to use as hand cream every time you wash your hands.

Tell me about it ... in my 'pre-bootsing' days when I could barely scrape together 50 points....if I was short on cash and wanted to pick up, say a pack of crisps, it would often leave me with just 1 or 2 points left.

    They'd say something like ...
'ooh that's lucky you've Just about got enought points on there. That's 2 points left on your card'
