Local butcher is good idea - we all assume that supermarkets are cheaper but its not necc so.

+ Better quality, why not make your own burgers etc then you know what goes into them..... we only get out meat from two local butchers and it doesn't work out much more that the supermarket, but the bacon, sausage and the like bear no comparison to the crap from the supermarket.

    get down the butcher....

I wasn't sure whether to go to debt managment or BR - if we don't we will be living the rest of our lives in debt and having no life.

Debt manangement for now. (one of the fee-free providers or d-i-y obviously)

Then have a good look at Bankruptcy - that might work for you, even if you get a income payment order.

Definitely apply for DLA - the evidence would help in a bankruptcy application and dla is excluded income
  • Sorry for being thick but what is DLA, and an income payment order?

DLA = Disability Living Allowance - always get help from someone who knows how to complete the forms.

Income payment order is what you pay for 3 years if you apply for bankruptcy and have disposable income over £100 per month (and I avoided using IPO!). You pay 50-66% of disposable income.
  • Thanks very much for your help
