we are trying to cut internet budget but we are on contract at the moment - when that finishes it will halve. Sky we have already reduced from £49.99 to £19. That and the internet are our only pleasures in life - we don't drink, smoke or go out. We keep in touch with friends and family on the internet.
Local butcher is good idea - we all assume that supermarkets are cheaper but its not necc so.
I cut OH hair this month, so saved on that - I draw the line at him cutting mine tho!! lol0 -
Hi godiva
have you tried sainsburys own free from meals ,only 1.95 for a pizza and 1.99 for fish fingers .We are a family of 5 with special dietry needs and do it on £300 a month.
It pays to shop around and make your own.

I wasn't sure whether to go to debt managment or BR - if we don't we will be living the rest of our lives in debt and having no life.
One question on SOA - at the bottom on the site it says offers to creditors - is the figure it shows reduced monthly repayments, or final figure to clear the debt - wish it was the latter, but I assume its monthly?
Also is payment to ex wife allowed - it is paid via my OH bank account on a court order?0 -
With regards haircuts, have you tried looking for hairdressers advertising for hair models? Often they need someone for trainees to practice on. I have done this a number of times. Sometimes they charge but only a small ammount but the other day I got mine done completely free and it was a really good haircut!
