How Do I Set Up My Own Personal Blog On This Board?

Can anyone tell me how I can set up my own personal blog / chat board on this forum? I've been watching the Badger Lady thread and it's so cool she's got her own personal board going on. Can someone tell me how to start my own personal blog with chat board on here?

This is a money saving site, not a place to create idle chit-chat boards.

You have currently posted in the House buying, Renting & Selling sub-forum.
How can we help you with any of these matters?
Or perhaps you have some words of wisdom to express on this subject matter? In which case, post away :)

  • Just start a thread in the Moneysaversarm Forum.
The title of the thread coud be "Jillop's Blog"
    See how it goes.

I think you may have been asking about a thread - you can start a thread any time just try to make sure its in the correct place
  • hi jillop welcome to mse

ironically it was your first post that was more relevant to this place:

Just to let anyone in the Kettering Borough Council area know that as from 2009/2010 you'll be paying on average £40 extra (£25 to £80 per year depending on tax band) in community tax to finance some aspiring property developer's daydream. This is on top of the normal rises.

Not sure what can be done about it but I'll sure be going to the council 's town centre shop to air my views.
don't judge me - i already know my flaws

The moneysavers arms is more the type of section for chit-chat type stuff. It's way down the bottom of the list within the Discussion area.

The BadgerLady thread....is something else! Sometimes threads just get that way and people keep posting to them - but that one *did* start out as a genuine query about a housing matter.

If it's just a general blog/diary you want then you could try something like www.livejournal.com - they are free and very easy to set up.

    Hope that helps. :)

No need to be so hard on a new member just for asking a question

    What would you recommend?

Inviting newbies to start threads for their personal blogging purposes on this MSE sub-forum dedicated to House Buying, Renting & Selling?

This is not the place to create such threads and my no-nonsense approach to answering the query posed leaves little to be mis-interpreted.

:hello: jillop Welcome to Mse :)

Don't feel foolish, we were all new once, you won't learn unless you ask & you've taken that step! Forums can take a bit of getting used to. I recommend you look at this board. There's loads of useful information in there.

Any other questions or help you have or need, just ask!

    All the best :)
