[quote=fayjmck; Dawn I am sure you are a lovely supervisor.
If renewable energy is your field want to come and look after me?:D

Unfortunately not - but I do the social ethical legal etc aspects of new techs (that would include renewable energy I guess). I was an environmental biology grad first time round, so aware of some of the debates ... at least some of those from years ago...0 -

Hey all, bit late but I'm determined to post to keep on track. T has had the throw-ups so have been working from home today.
1) Online scratch x 10p
2) Free cinema preview tickets
3) Entered some comps ( won 3 x £50 quid Thomas Cook vouchers that seem to be neither use nor ornament, oh well)If anyone wants them let me know.
4) Looked online for summer holiday using Tesco CC points - will have enough for the four of us at the Isle of Wight, fingers crossed.
5) Entered barcodes into Music Magpie, but seeing as they were offering me 30p for most DVDs I reckon I'll take my chances on Ebay.
6) Cancelled order for new drive belt for hoover as found one cheaper elsewhere.
7)Did a fabulous Boots dash this evening - pressies, treats for me and top-up for B's phone with lots of vouchers,MOCS and points back. Accidentally bought a tester, so I hope they will exchange it for me. Doh!
8) Listed some things on Adtrader / Gumtree that I found when tidying under my stairs.
9) Was all set to pop to Tesco for a topup shop when they e-mailed me an online £10 off code. Didn't need to spend £50, but had to pick up some things for work which came to over £30 so spent about £30 myself and got £10 off! And didn't have to leave my sofa to do it.
Not so DFW - popped into Sainsburys for milk and came out with a DVD player amongst other things. Still, it was only £7, I can finally watch films in my bedroom - and it was PINK! Got some DVDs for a £1 as well - I expect I can sell them to Music Magpie for 1p when I've watched them!
Have a good sleep, see you tomorrow.

Would you like one SM? - being a 'what small thinger' I of course snaffled 4 when I should have had one. :rotfl:
OoOoOoO
Hi Emily
You're famous - the one and only originator of a 'payment a day'. :TGetting there...slowly!
GC : must do better
NSD: very rare
No matter how slow I go I am lapping everyone on the couch.0 -
Think I slipped up slightly, went and spent money needlessly on jaffa cakes because the lovely dfws in the chat thread were talking about them and I couldn't take it. *Sob* My name is Heidi, and I'm.......a chocoholic. :PNot an expert, but I try and contribute and I'll always listen. Middle child of middle child parents. I drink way too much coffee.
