Has anyone in the Yorkshire area had one. I have only had one in total for this winter and its been bloody freezing here.I used to suffer from lack of motivation.... now I just can't be arsed.

How do you get one? Is it related to DLA or something else? I get higher rate of Mobility but apparently i'm notdisabled enough to get the care component.
I got a £10 bonus at Christmas but haven't had anything since. It has been consistently cold up here in the Scottish Borders so I would have thought that if it was linked to DLA that I should have had it long before now.!!!!!! happens!!!:D0 -

I think this whole system is batty. I'm 1000ft up on open moorland and yet my weather station is near Edinburgh , 25 miles and much lower than me . We have had snow lying for for two weeks but there's none further down .0

We live a few miles away from Altnaharra which has the coldest recorded UK temperature minus 27.2 Celsius in December 1995. Last year we got one payment but this year as far as I am aware none! I tried to check the met office website but they do not seem to have the past stats for all weather stations open for public access. Does anyone know where you can find this out?
The catch is that it has to be seven consecutive days of zero or less! If the seventh day creeps up to plus one then no money even if it plummets back down the next day.0 -

Thank you. Do you happen to know where your weather monitoring station is. You are not that far from me so I would assume it should be the same one. I think if you got to the met office website and check your local forcast for your post code it says on there.I used to suffer from lack of motivation.... now I just can't be arsed.
