Think someone is piggy backing on my Wifi

I don't think I've ever used a wireless router that has a light that switches off when no one's wirelessly connected to it.
Wifi stays on whether or not anything is connected.
My wireless router has an orange light for when no-one is connected via wireless then the light turns green when there is an active conneciton.This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.0 -

Im sure when my computer is turned off the wireless light is still flashing as the router is broadscasting a signal0
