So its to be changed to fornightly payments. I get the feeling the governemt are trying to save a few pennies here. I hope they make this widely know or there will be some people out there in April who will go a week without a payment.I used to suffer from lack of motivation.... now I just can't be arsed.

This could be really awkward if there are DDs coming out of the bank the week we had to go without money
Wonder what else they can do to mess us around?0 -

Thanks Richard.
I just don't believe this, sorry, crap.
2 weeks ago, on a Monday, my normal day for over 15 yrs, when I went to get my IS and DLA there was no money so I called jobscentre and they told me that my 2 accounts were being DECOMBINED. Yeah, I thought what language was this person speaking.
Now I have to get my money on Wednesdays. With this new change I will have to go on Thursdays! Will I have to go on Wednesday for the DLA?
I will have to get in touch with them because I prefer a weekly payment rather than the fortnightly. Don't they realise that they are changing our lives and the way we live it? They probably don't care.
If it ain't broke why fiddle with it?0 -
