Maybe the seller will now learn
  • if the seller was rude, I would put a negative. Hopefully they won't be!

This has happened to me before- I got the item- left on my doorstep by the postie!! I send an email to the seller to ask where it was- I was never going to ask for a refund, I just wanted to freak them out a bit. The item was £25 and I said "when did you post it, I wanted to wear it at the weekend..." (it was delivered tuesday, I emailed friday), then asked for the tracking number.

I got an email back asking what a tracking number was!!

After me explaining the whole thing to them- ie what a recorded delivery item was, what a tracking number was what the difference is...etc, I caved in, said I had wanted to make a point and asked for a very good reason why I don't give them a neutral feedback response.
    I had my postage refunded.
  • Well... it gets better... I went to collect it, the buyer has said she will refund some of the postage, which is nice of her as it cost £6.85 to post.

I'm glad it isn't just me who has had this problem though!

However, the items are Petite - which isn't in the listing.

So I've opened an item not as described with paypal, as the seller takes ages to reply and I want her to act quickly.

(I'm 5ft10 and so Petite looks really funny! and petite items are harder to sell on ebay).

So the seller lost out on postage and still expect them to refund you.

I take it they are a private seller, in which case it all seems pretty heartless to me.
  • sorry I forgot to say I had said it was fine and no refund was necessry for the postage- as it would definitely be mean as she is not a powerseller.

although the items are petite- which wasnt declared- im waiting to see what she says...

Looks like both are going to be out of pocket once the OP returns the suits.

Can't you shrink yourself a bit to fit the suits. That would be the MSE thing to do.

Yous save a fortune in future purchases too as smaller items have got to cost less surely. (I feel sorry for all those size 20's as their clothes must cost a small fortune)

Petite means short fitting, how do you suggest the OP does that then?
