from a carphone warehouse contract. I was told today my phone would stop working on contract. I should then put in my new sim. It would then not work till after 6pm when it would start working again (I may have to turn it off and on a few times).
All nonsense of course, blasted thing doesn't work of course. I have been calling it and it is not working. I really need it for the morning. Just called carphone who say its o2's problem but WHO do I call in 02 - and will it cost a fortune? Beggars, they do this deliberately, it is fraud.
Is there a free way I can get this dealt with?

with your new sim in the phone and switched on, is it displaying any network signal strength? if so have you tried making a call on it? often times it is the making of the first call which registers payt sims.Mortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j0

Are you moving from O2 contract (through CPW) to O2 payg ?
If you are it will take the system a while to move the acc from one sim to another. Keep the phone off and switch on every 30 minutes or so. I take it the old sim has stopped working ? as the new one won't start until it does.0 -
