  • Good start but do you have the parking tickets and notice to owner etc?
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
  • I always contest Parking tickets, i'm quite happy to contest and do the work that is needed to help me resolve these PCN's. I'm not afraid of hard work but advice and guidance would be appreciated very much. I'm really stuck and just cant think how to avoid the payments going up again.

I can immediately see that the NTO asks you to select one ground on which to appeal. This is wrong. I'm sure Neil B will be along to spot many more flaws.

Can we see the PCNs too, please? Back and front.
  • whatever i scanned is all i have!!!! i scanned both front and backs even though the quality is rubbish :embarasse

Ok. Well done for getting some of the info up. I'm an IT numpty myself so I can only congratulate.

The docs you have labelled parking tickets are not as described. Rather more serious than that. I really don't want to worry you but you are at serious risk of losing your vehicle or other posessions in the near future.

If that is all you have then the question people are asking is 'what about the start of this story?'

There must have been original PCNs ? No?

there are things you might be able to do but you really have to show everything you have receieved - and so far - that cannot be it.

  • i dont have the original tickets for the order of recovery, the last ticket i contested and it came back with a result of having to pay the original fine at £100 instead of £150. My concern is we just dont have the finances at the moment to pay any of them so i want to know can i ask them to put a hold on them till OH gets a job is that a possibility.

Ok - getting there but a lot missing.

I'm seeing two OfRs. You mention that one appeal was rejected. Was that the same for the other one of those two?
Then we have the NtO which i presume is the most recent? Yes? This one we could fight if there was still time but you have blanked out all date info?

Going back to the original two, assuming the second was rejected as well - did you ask for a payment plan? Did they respond to such a request?
In answer to your question, some Councils do but are quite tight about it. Perhaps you could get the support and help of a local Councillor? there's one with a slightly French name (can't remember it) who has an interest in parking matters. I'm concerned though that it has reached the £150 mark in both cases - and I don't understand how.

i must be an old softy cos this one is quite worrying me.

One possibly contestable PCN (the LB RuT one) but crucial info obscured.

Two at OfR stage with OP worrying about how tp possibly pay £155- for each. They really shouldn't be worrying about that because in the next couple of weeks or so Warrants will have been issued for both, possibly two separate bailiffs to deal with and bills for each circa £400-600- and no defence whatsoever against that.

Best advice? Am I sometimes 'short' - yep, with reason! Wake up and smell the onions and answer the questions to see if there is a faint chance of prevention.

I have wriiten to all three offices and asked if they are able to put me on a payment plan. I'm awaiting a reply and and well i will let you know the outcome. Would like to thank you all for your advice and will just hope that they agree to a payment plan. (fingers crossed):o
