I've also book a four night Sun holiday at Blue Dolphin in the easter holidays.
We went with the Sun holidays to Doniford Bay for a 3 night weekend break, out of season and the Caravan was clean and tidy just a bit used\shabby.
I was wondering if it was a good idea to upgrade because the easter holidays so I guess it will be busier? We have a 20 month toddler so thought a better caravan might be warmer aswell for him.
I have be offered three different upgrades for £32, £56 and £98. What do people recommend? Should I upgrade to the £32 and then am i more likely to be then upgrade again as I have paid more?0 -
Dont upgrade until you get there and find you dont like it.. We went on to Davon Cliffs on the Sun deal last year (had a GREAT time, btw), and we found instead of getting the standard we had ordered we got a Luxery Plus when we got there, so wait and see.0

We went to Haven Caister with the Sun last year and got one of their "chalets".
It was pretty minging by my standards or anyone else's I would hope. I took my vaccum with me and the stuff that came out of the carpets and furnishings was grim to say the least. by the end of our stay, the carpet was a different colour to when we arrived. The permanent odour of stale smoke wafted at you each time we returned to the chalet and the place needed airing each time.
I've heard others on here saying that the accomodation is "basic but clean". Trust me.....it's not clean
If i went again, I would most definitely upgrade. But then again, I won't be going to Caister again either"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
The Woolworths shop as it were is now called the factory shop. Quite a good shop as well. Have a good holiday.
