HSBC asking for ID documents

Hiya
Do you have any official documents from the IR etc with name and address on them? These normally suffice. Had this a few times now with CC's, looks like they are getting tougher with ID etc.

Provisional and full driving licences both have the address on the photocard and the paper copy.
He has a bit of poor credit history at his parents so didn't want to use that address.0 -

provisional can be taken for halifax savings and bank accounts so not sure about mortgage. can you ask why?0 -
I suspected as much.
The mortgage advisor is being very shifty i think and keeps putting barriers and delays in our way so i was suspicious about the whole provisional thing anyway. I will definitely be asking why tomorrow. Thanks.0
