Hello, I'm back from Leyland nr Chorley!
Passed a very nasty accident on the M62 where a car had hurtled off the carriageway by the farm that's in the middle of the motorway!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

I go past that farm on a fairly regular basis Linda - when they build the motorway they tried to force him to sell up, but he wouldn't, so they had to build around him. He used to sit on his roof and play a fiddle in protest (according to my Mum.....who isn't the most reliable source of information :rotfl:).

Sounds bad Linda. I remember watching a documentary called TheSecret Life of the Motorway and one of the episodes concentrated on the construction of this bit of motorway, how long it took and how horrendous the weather conditions were. They also spoke to the family that are still there now!
