LPG Bargain?? Roll on April 13th!!

Evening all ... as April 13th rapidly approaches, I have started my quest to rid my life of Flogas and their devious ways ... Anyway, I happenend accross a website ... www.exrafuel.co.uk ... who claim to offer significant savings!

They allude to the fact that we will be able to own our own tanks (is this right??) ... and are currently offering LPG at 32.77p per litre (exc. VAT) ... a significant saving over the 47p per litre exc. VAT) that Flogas are taking me for!

Anyone heard of them?? Are they reputable?? Don't suppose they couldk be much worse the Flogas!!

Also ... has anyone else started the search yet ... any other options I should be looking at??

As usual, thans for any assistance!!

So after April 13th, can we buy our existing tank off the supllier and own it ourselves??

I thought tht due to 'safety issues' (i.e. big rip off!) these had to be woned by the supply companies, and that no-one would fill a tank that wasn't maintained as such!

    Confused now!!!

You have always been able to buy your own tank but most rent (i do for £40.00 a year, including maintenance) but this means you can only get it filled from the owner. After April the new law will make it easier to change suppliers because they have to either remove there tank or sell it to your new supplier. I saw a company selling second hand tanks the other day, wonder how much they cost. May be worth it so i could shop around for prices like oil!

We also have had enough of flogas and their devious ways. They will not budge on price.
Spoke with Shell - who seemed quite friendly - and quoted a price of 39ppl. At the moment we are on 45ppl with Flogas.
Will there be a list - somewhere - of companies that we can approach after April in order to discuss changing? Or will it be a case of ringing round various firms.
Have seen on previous threads that Calor should be avoided.
