Get Orange to send you out a replacement sim and use a second hand or cheap Orange phone until your contract runs out then do an upgrade.0

& If you have the IMEI for the phone report it to the police. I have never heard of anyone getting their phone back from the underground.

Have you check lost property for network you lost it on?
I work on over ground network and have handed in 4 mob's 1 laptop tonnes of other stuff worth a try..0 -
By all means phone LU to see if it has been handed in as lost property.
However the very first thing you should do is phone Orange and report it lost, so that they can put a bar on the SIM. The phone could be running up an enormous bill as you are reading this![size=-2] If this post was unhelpful, please tell me.

its the IMEI number that you need to get for the police,
make sure orange block the sim card so that nobody can use it to make phone calls, also ask orange if anybody has used the phone since you last used it. Also, make sure they also block the mobile phone hand set. by doing this, nobody in the UK can use this phone.
here is some advice.........keep a look out on ebay for the phone, i dont trust the fools who find it and keep the phone to sell on. Some of them are even thick enough to sell it on ebay, a public auction!
