Barclaycard Fraud with a Difference!

I had a 'direct credit' appear on my 0%for 14 months card. I notified them immediately that the payment was not meant for me and was told not to worry it would sort itself out. Next statement arrived with £3.76 interest added. After another call this was rectified and replaced with a 'good will' reversal of £3.76 BUT estimated interest of £12.41 was forecast for my next statement. This was charged on my next statement but was again subsequently restored after long calls to India. My 0% for 14 months has also been restored by Customer Relations, 0844 556 0104 who also credited my card with £20 (this I do class as a good will payment) for all the time wasted and phone calls over the 3 months that the problem existed. The spurious payment was reclaimed from my card about a month after it had appeared so do watch out for uncalled for interest charges in the mean time.

You said that OP had 2 clear options before you mentioned to him not to spend capital.
I believe those 2 options to be incorrect.
