AmEx how to be accepted?

In AmEx T&C it says your household income must be £20.000 or over but in application the required field is "your personal income - must be £20.000 or over"
Mine income is not enough, but joined with my partner's is.
Based on these circumstances I have been declined a credit card (I think - I fulfilled others)
Has anyone had similar problems but has been accepted?
Information - never enough, questions - always too many, decisions - not always the best

  • I make over that and I got declined too, I think amex is quite picky in terms of eligibilities.

In order to qualify for AMEX you must drive a flash car, own an I-Phone, drink in expensive wine bars and have a hair style that resembles a bog-brush.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.
