Hi
My parents have had ot move out of their house for 4 months due to a burst pipe wreaking havoc. They are now in a rented house without an active phone line or internet access. They have looked into setting this up but all deals seem to be for 12 monmth minimum. I have a number of questions if anyone can help - are there any 3/4 month deals out there? Should the insurance company cover this cost (even if it is 12 months)? And should the insurance company pay for their mobile bills as a result?
Any help much appreciated!

I only need a connection for 3 month blocks at a time, three times every year. I chose a 3 USB dongle. It works wherever you can get a 3 phone signal. The speed is around 1mbps at best for me. It costs around £50 for the device then you pay for the internet by buying a topup voucher every month (so no contract). £10/month for 1gb, £15/month for 3gb and £25/month for 7gb. It also gives me the flexibility to choose a different download limit every month.0
