unacceptably racist & reported to abuse .
So the original post has been removed, but your quoting said post means it is still available to read:confused:

Perhaps you should ask the mods to remove your post too, otherwise you have defeated your own objective.

FWIW IMHO its not racist, but nationalist

    Latvia's economy shrinks rapidly

That is what I call a depression.

Well, I'm well gutted that such a major superpower is financially struggling.
More concerned about this one in all fairness, 2ml+ people now on the dole in this country isn't helping.

I myself have a Polish window cleaner and I have no problems with the man. As for defending the other guy, well I do not go for generalisations either but there are plenty of examples of foreigners from all over the world coming here and taking advantage of the system. You must agree that this does go on. As long as the media highlight this and also the Government's seemingly ineffective control of it, then generalisations are obviously going to occur. I am not xenophobic, hell, I work for the Japanese and am truly grateful they are here.

There are also plenty of examples of British people taking advantage of the system. I think the issue is therefore the lax nature of the benefit system rather than the racial/national makeup of the people claiming from it.

Here the bits that make you a idiot......:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

British workers cannot afford to live on those wages...and competing against foreign workers is not possible because it is not a level playing field

Indeed, british workers would not be allowed to accept £1 an hour due to the minimum wage. Annoying that the employers can get away with paying such a derisory wage to foreign workers. I'm certain that the government turn a blind eye to it because it helps the economy, but long-term it simply undermines the UK job market.

Labour laws should be enforced regardless of the industry and the nationality of the worker. If these jobs were paying minimum wage then there would be more british workers willing to take them, and we then would not need so many overseas workers.

£1 a day is unfair on everyone, both citizens of this country and overseas and the only people benefitting are the employers. No change there then .
