I thought I would give the bulls there dead cat bounce and then was waiting to rip it out of them.
Truly who believes prices are going to rise when bank loses are getting ever bigger, unemployment is rising and almost 0 interest rates are having no effect.
Even Halifax say their price rise was a gliche.
Can anyone tell me where this money is going to come from to allow house price increases when the banks have less money and require 25-40% deposits.
Its basic economics people. Money isn't magically there, unless you talk quantative easing and then we go into the realms of Zimbabwe and higher interest rates.
The market has to bottom before things recover. The US housing market is 18 months ahead of us and still falling:exclamatiScams - Shared Equity, Shared Ownership, Newbuy, Firstbuy and Help to Buy.
