Few bad seeds who work at CS, Shoulda told ya it was being extended.
• have you asked to see what was put in the notes on your account at the time that they changed your tarrif? If they haven't said on the notes that they advised you you would be extending your current contract, then technically, you could have a case, have you contacted customer relations? cust.rel@t-mobile.co.uk they might look over your case for you and try to sort something our for you. Remember to include your name and password/address to speed the process along.

When this was done they would have sent out a letter stating the contract was being extended, Or if it was a normal priceplan change, Then T-mobiles systems auto change the commitment date, The adviser should have warned you if this was the case.

They never did. Just like when they advised me that I wouldn't lose my friends and family discount, but I ended up doing so! Just like they misinformed me of the cancellaion terms too.

You could always pay a tenner for a copy of the notes under the Data protection Act

As far as I know there are no notes on my account stating that i was advised. When I phoned up to cancel my contract the person looked though all the notes and verified that I had received bad service, but all she would do is offer me an upgrade not any compensation or let me off the cancellation fee. I don't want to be with T-Mobile any more after receiving such shoddy service. I shouldn't even have this contract anymore, it was originally suppose to end this month.

What would Customer Relations do though if I emailed them? I don't want to be with T-Mobile anymore, and I cancelled my contract 2 days ago.

Sorry for hi-jacking this thread, I wasn't even going to complain about T-Mobile here but then I saw this thread.

Just a thought, Even if the adviser didnt leave a note, T-mobile systems always leave an auto-memo when a priceplan, commitment period is changed, Maybe worth looking into

what's the difference betwwen an auto-memo and a note? I'm not sure if I can do anything now if I've cancelled my contract?

A note is an adviser leaving a memo of what was done on the account

An auto memo is like 'Priceplan changed to Flext 35, Previous plan was Flext 30, Done by *Insert Advisers Name*

Means it is left automaticly by the system, And cant be deleted.

True, but that's not going to help much. It only tells us what the OP told us already: he was previously on a 12 month plan and moved to an 18 month plan - nobody's disputing that.
I accept no liability if you chose to rely on my advice.
