Don't know till I see them next month-but there's no point in worrying myself stupid about it is the there? I'm working on the assumption if it was something REALLY nasty they would see me sooner rather than later....
Oh ok, I couldn't be as positive as that despite all my recent NLP reading. Hats off to you girl. You are so right x

The photos are fantastic and I'm really really proud of them, and of myself for having the guts to do it. Definately one of those 'things to do before you die' type things!

Exactly! Sometimes your confidence or feelings of self worth can get knocked.

But to regain that is priceless.

Exactly. I've been at such a low recently that something like that which helped in some way is invaluable.

Sorry to bore you peeps, any comments? I want to get them to admit that they haven't got the CCA so that I can stop paying these gits....

    Dear Mr Cleary,

    Reference Number

My apologies for contacting you directly but I feel that your Compliance Officer Ms Shim-Quee ( if she still remains ) seems not to have any clue just what illegal methods the ‘collections’ staff at your Company employ.

I enclose the covering letter which will accompany all supporting paperwork and will be sent to the Financial Services Ombudsman after 13th February ( 8 weeks since my last contact with your Company ).

I suffered badly at the hands of these staff in August, which completely ruined the one short holiday that I could afford to take. This continued throughout the next three months with all sorts of threat s being made ( Charging Orders, Demands, Bankruptcy etc ) and encouragements being openly made for me to borrow money from my mortgage lender or Family to clear the, supposed, debt. All the time these threats were being made I was faithfully maintaining payments via CCCS, and still am.

The continuing harassment caused myself, my wife and Family very great distress, particularly when your ‘in-house’ legal firm, LCS, tried to get involved…..resulting in the attempt to force a Charging Order on me ( or to extract the offering of a Voluntary CO by myself ) using Documents which were, apparently, not appropriate as the entitlement to any money by 1st Credit had not been proven.

Ms Shim Quee has constantly sought to deny that anyone at 1st Credit could say such things or make threats without explanation. (I wonder if those staff could actually explain some of the things they threaten……..if they cant, then they should not be using the words.)

Also her handling of this matter has being nothing short of incompetent. She made ‘Final Response’ which ended with a question!

I originally requested a copy of any Agreement on 13 October which was received by your Company on 15th October. Nothing has been sent to me and a second request was made by yourselves to Citibank on 10th December, again with nothing forthcoming. A Default Notice under the Terms of The Consumer Credit Act was sent to you by me on 19th December. A representative of your Company contacted CCCS in January with what sounded like a complaint that I had been telling yourselves that 1st credit have no legal entitlement to the debt and that they would be contacting the original creditor once again regarding this.

Apparently this has also produced no results and as such I wonder just how long your Company intends to string me along whilst accepting money from me? Money that is only being sent to you via CCCS as part of an overall repayment plan which ensures that Creditors, who are entitled to, receive a fairly distributed payment.

It is apparent that 1st Credit do not have ANY entitlement to receive payments and that all the threats and harassment from your staff and the frustratingly inept communications from Ms Shim Quee have been made without any real authority. This will form the basis of my Complaint to the FSO, CSA, OFT and Trading Standards and, probably, to my MP Tony Baldry and the Press.

Words cannot adequately express my personal disgust at the way your staff have treated me and my Family .

    Yours,

    S.......edit; whoops!
    :D:D stay wonky :D:D

  • Hi Pepe the letter looks ok, but i would edit the bit about the holiday as although you have a valid reason, would give them some leverage to have a do back at you.IYKWIM.

I'd probably put the year's after all the dates - but then I can be a bit OCD :rotfl: but also to eliminate some smart ar*e reply (if you actually get one) refering to 13th February - when Mr Pepe.
