I've never asked for CCAs. Have you all done it

I have CCA req'd all of my Creditors now. To some of them as a means of making the debt unenforceable ( to DCAs, why should I pay them just because they have bought my debt, I didn't borrow from them! ), and to some of them as a means of 'ensuring that T&Cs are being adhered to'.....but if they dont reply and we have trouble in the future that can be useful in Court.
Some say start the letter with 'I do not acknowledge any debt to you'.....use that at the wrong time and you are stirring up trouble!

If you KNOW you owe and are being treated reasonably, best left alone.
If they are UNreasonable, or sell the debt, then best used.

I never have Spud, but often wish I could get the gumption up to do it!
I also wish I could get the nerve up to go for my PPI on my mahoosive loan as was sold it incorrectly but hey ho...

    I scared. Stupid huh?

Bunny!!! If you were within reach I'd slap your legs!......in fact, wait there, it'll be worth the trip!
Get that PPI sorted, its so wrong that they now prevent the selling of it! Nerve not required!

Hand-holding service available for CCa requests etc

Well done BB knew you would sail through it:T

it was my office one though, rather than the observation/grading of my teaching - that is now next term rather than tomorrow night, it was postponed.

Can you believe I've been in this job now a year in a couple of weeks? From the fear of going for it after everything happened, getting it, adding in the teacher training, starting teaching and now looking for something back up the ladder again.......it's gone quick

My friend just e-mailed me this: -

    Body Statistics.......

It takes your food seven seconds to get from your mouth to your stomach.

One human hair can support 3 kg.

The average man's penis is three times the length of his thumb.

Human thighbones are stronger than concrete.

    A woman's heart beats faster than a man's.

There are about one trillion bacteria on each of your feet.

Women blink twice as often as men.

The average person's skin weighs twice as much as the brain.

Your body uses 300 muscles to balance itself when you are standing still.

If saliva cannot dissolve something, you cannot taste it.

Despite blinking twice as often, women reading this will be finished now.

The men are still busy checking their thumbs.
Made me laugh but I'm easily amused :rotfl:

At the risk of getting slapped thighs in Manchester i have gone and resent my PPI letter to Welcome Finance... original sent in April 08, lol! no response received....

Re: Payment Protection and other insurances.

I would like to find which insurances etc I have been paying on my outstanding loan with yourselves. I feel these may have been unfairly imposed and mis-sold and I intend to ask that these be refunded to me.

Unless you can satisfactorily justify to me that the policy was fair and reasonable I am requesting a full refund of all premiums, and subsequent interest on these payments, that I have paid to date. As I believe I have been deprived of this money I also expect 8% statutory interest, the amount a court would award, to be added to each payment made.

I look forward to a full and prompt response to this letter and for the matter to be concluded within eight weeks or I shall be contacting the Financial Ombudsman to investigate my complaint.

    Letter 2 sent today -

Re: Payment Protection and other insurances.

Further to my letter dated 23rd April 2008, to which I had no formal or informal reply. I ask again for the information requested.

I don't even know if i had PPI, but i know it was front loaded with all sorts of crappy insurances which were probably worthless.... i don't know if i'll get anywhere, but will try.

Bunny, i'm surprised at you though (sore looking wealts on your legs there, was that Pepe???!?) i thought you were scared of nothing and noone!!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....
