It must be kazw's OH, because I had it (the second one), and came downstairs to get the pliers, and now I can't find the screwdriver...

Then got taken by OH to Halfords and B & Q to look for 'tools', he has loads and way he bought more, I asked what he is going to do with said tools only to be told 'stuff'......................men more money than sense!

I haven't a clue why we need to own seven different drills. Apparently there is a difference other than colour  . DH says his motto is 'he who dies with the most toys wins'.

We had to remove the cracked bidet to get the middle wall in but left the bath etc as they were until the new ones are delivered, DH is having a bath in the new bedroom - the old loo and sink are in the half that remains a bathroom. Next stage is the stud wall for the new bathroom but we have run out of materials so we have had to stop :j . He has worked really hard and got loads done :kisses3: .

Toots - a Sean and Pierce sandwich?!? Now there is a good combination...

  • Afternoon all.

Battled my nemesis yesterday and won. Offending dining room window is now clean completing Monday’s list. I went back and redid the kitchen so that it was all clean and I have cleared the dining room table re-homing the clutter mostly groceries. Now with that done it should be easy to do the kitchen to level 3 (unless the lists change drastically.)
    Toots finally my first star:j :j .

Pigpen - acorn pregnancy advice centres sometimes have baby stuff available for low income mothers http://www.careconfidential.com/Services/FreeClothes.aspx - if you click this link it will take you to the relevant page.:D

DH has splashed the fat off the chicken all over his T-shirt - will it come out if I just wash it or do I need to do something else to it first?

Aawww... you lot are too nice!

Jacob needs clothes 0-3 mnths+.. I rehomed all my baby stuff about a year ago! Just before my sis found out she was pregnant and DS got with GF.. typical isn't it?!! The only bits I still have are the sleepsuits I brought them home from hospital in, DS3's teeny tiny suits and the snowsuit and christening gown they all wore.

Anyway.. He has outgrown ALL the newborn stuff and I stocked him up on sleepsuits and bodysuits yesterday though a few more probably wouldn't go amiss.. 3-6, 6-9 he has nothing.. My sis donated a few bits but most of her stuff is pink.. obviously..

She will need a cot once he gets a bit bigger but right now he is fine in the dog basket.

I think it is really just clothes and nappies which he is going though at an alarming rate.. OH.. desperate.. 34E/F bras.. preferably nursing ones but anything is better than the 34D she is wearing at the moment! Muslins would be a greta help.. bibs are useless!

We can cover postage.. and anything would be very gratefully received.. though why she didn't say what they needed before it got to the point she was crying she had no nappies and no money and he had nothing left that fits I don't know! Wombat.

Aw! New mum's don't like to ask for anything in case ppl think they can't cope. :D I'll have a look though most of mine is pink too! Keep trying free cycle too. I've had lot's from there. Has she signed up for all the nappy deals?
