hi everyone

have only been out of bed for about an hour:eek: but i was shattered after yesterday and dfamily left me in bed reading my book.

since i've been up though i have tidied all upstairs, s&s'd bathroom and put wm on:T

the party went really well, so well in fact that i was actually quite bored - the kids all had a good time but didn't do anything stupid and i made enough food so that packed lunches are sorted for the next few days:p

toots - thanks for noticing the effort we've been making, my mum has finally commented on how good the house looks and as for in-laws visiting it was even more of a relief because dd just had to show them her newly decorated room - normally they don't get past the LR - and all 3 rooms and BR were spot on:T

hope everyone is well - hugs to those who need them - i'm going to catch up on some of the thread ( but not all - you lot sure can talk lol)#

Weekend list.. For everyone in the family to share!

1. HHI
2. clean out the porch
3. Defrost the freezer!
4. Clean out a manky kitchen unit
5. Do a little job you keep putting off.. like sewing on a button or hanging a mirror!
6. HHfiling .. and if you are planning a trip overseas.. make sure the passports are sorted and not in need of renewing!! No last minute stuff here!!

My normal dailies -
Wipe over PC desk & keep free from clutter.
Keep ironing together (x15)

toots - are you watching all the bonds on sky? We've been watching them too, got them saved on the box so watched one last night!

HHC done - study looks much improved - can see the carpet once again and have flung about 30 mags without even opening them (there are still a few that I need to fling but will give them another once thru first)

Off to do dinner - we're both starving so will do a roast to fortify us before we go to visit the inlaws this after (note to self - remember earplugs )

Vanilla Happy Birthday

Been to the local Sunday market spent £2.99 on peanuts for the birds in the garden.

Then got taken by OH to Halfords and B & Q to look for 'tools', he has loads and way he bought more, I asked what he is going to do with said tools only to be told 'stuff'......................men more money than sense!

Pigpen Sorry I cannot help with anything for Jacob, but hope the welfare people can help out.

I have hoovered round
and also cleaned off the stupid end small triangle shelf that is at the end of the head height cupboards, most of the dumped stuff is now in the bin, shelf washed, polished and wanted items returned, it looks so much better.

Back later after I have inspected the Italian and Irish rugby players!!!!

Ok... own up... who keeps stealing my screwdrivers? It has to be one of you lot as I haven't let anyone else into the house today!

No Rach i dont have a TV - have been watching Dvds on a portable DVD player while sorting out my bedroom - I probably know them off by heart - I have loads of Sean Connery films not just his Bond ones!!!
