Afternoon everyone hope you are all well and happy.
Livingroom all done, making good progress on the washing(although I feel I'll never get to the bottom of it), and I'll get the ironing done when Supernatural is on later.:j and you never know there might just be a running battle in the street later to watch!

Pollybear thanks for the inspiration, I'd forgot to get the chicken out for dinner plus DPs away but I fancy roast, remembered there is cooked chicken and beef in the freezer :)
Mrs Dawn hope the move goes well!
soappie, I don't think of it as psychic or anything but the phone things happen a lot, I've a few times gone to phone someone and they have phoned me.
boddy, good good, would hate it to cost you money. I've only bought hairspray in the last 14 months when it comes to toiletries as I am still using the Wilkos mega ordering stufff :o same goes for washing powder (I stock up on tablets or liquid so it doesn't get damp) soda crystals, stardrops, bleach, DW tablets, DPs razor blades etc etc. These are the things I would probably stock up on the most, well I do. Boots.com might be a good idea, you can get loads of good bonus point/discount codes, they do some very good offers and they would deliver it. Could then build up the bonus points for when you need to restock. A 3 for 2 or half price deal on shampoo/conditioner coupled with a 1500 bonus points code could save you a small fortune. DP said if there was a degree in 'bargains and hoarding' I would qualify :o with honours
Kiwisaver hope their flight goes ok and their visit goes well
    Happy Birthday vanilla

Sister been texting, yes she wanted something as usual, she added an apology for not buying DS2 a birthday gift.....which I knew she'd include when she wanted something. Sent her the details and phone numbers she wanted but just left the rest.

I've got no motivation at all today, hit a slump on the sofa moment to say the least. I've had a maple and pecan danish for brekkie (yellow stickered on Friday but seemed fine) and a coffee, fed DSs, put 3 things on the airer and that is all so far

So I am going to look around me and do a small list on what I know needs doing first......and do that in a HHC 12.45-1.15 if anyone wants to join me

Empty DW and start refilling it
    Clear DPs can/cup/rubbish collection
    Take anything dry off airer
    Put washer contents on airer
Put dog bed cover in WM and his blankie which smells too
Get DSs to collect their coats and shoes off the floor and pick up the games they have chucked across the floor
Put anything that needs to go in the fridge off the kitchen bench away
Collect up other shoes, can see 2 of DPs pairs and one of mine
Fling boogie, anything I can find needs binning!
    Make DSs lunches
One day I might be more organised...........

Thanks Julie, nice not to have to go it alone when I am feeling 'slumpy!' I appreciate the company :)

Oh cute moment, friend bought her son jelly snakes as he's become a bit obsessed with snakes, but she said he can't bring himself to eat them and she's finding them coiled up all around the house :rotfl: I just said I hope that he hasn't put them anywhere warm.

    Right off I go!!!

  • Afternoon all!

Happy Birthday vanilla - have a great day :bdaycake:

Oooooops, I think I inadvertantly poisoned my hubby last night - he's been suffering from an occasional allergic reaction to something we couldn't pinpoint - we thought it was to our friend's little wuffer at the time 'cause he usually only gets it after visiting their house. Well, I cooked us a lovely tea last night for Valentine's day and did a prawn cocktail as my easy starter....the upshot of it is that I think he might be slightly allergic to king prawns, which makes sense as he usually only has them at his mates. He felt really headachy and looked blotchy so nothing serious but it did alter our plans rather :o cough cough, IYKWIM.

Have enjoyed another lazy morning, but aim to be flying not fluttering next week - just need to shake my CBAitis
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

Aawww... you lot are too nice!

Jacob needs clothes 0-3 mnths+.. I rehomed all my baby stuff about a year ago! Just before my sis found out she was pregnant and DS got with GF.. typical isn't it?!! The only bits I still have are the sleepsuits I brought them home from hospital in, DS3's teeny tiny suits and the snowsuit and christening gown they all wore.

Anyway.. He has outgrown ALL the newborn stuff and I stocked him up on sleepsuits and bodysuits yesterday though a few more probably wouldn't go amiss.. 3-6, 6-9 he has nothing.. My sis donated a few bits but most of her stuff is pink.. obviously..

She will need a cot once he gets a bit bigger but right now he is fine in the dog basket.

I think it is really just clothes and nappies which he is going though at an alarming rate.. OH.. desperate.. 34E/F bras.. preferably nursing ones but anything is better than the 34D she is wearing at the moment! Muslins would be a greta help.. bibs are useless!

We can cover postage.. and anything would be very gratefully received.. though why she didn't say what they needed before it got to the point she was crying she had no nappies and no money and he had nothing left that fits I don't know! Wombat.
