Thanks JO, I still have boxes unpacked from our last move! C.O.D. now all 4 shelves done and 1 drawer, I have taken 2 shelves out and put the bags/boxes back in there for now as no where else for them to go!
Can't open the bottom 3 drawers as they have collapsed in on themselves so am going to do lunch while I think up a plan that does NOT involve OH's chainsaw and or hammers and chisels...

Mudbath - hugs hun, you have been adn will continue to be a great support for LL and I hope you can deal with your own feeling too x Now go declutter some chocolate.
Still feeling Carp.
Had 2 visitors to the door which has delayed me. Going to do just 15 minutes packing and then lunch and a shopping list.
Anyone know where DS3 has put his foam bullet shooter? I've looked everywhere for it.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Thanks Dusty - hope you're feeling better soon. I'm ok now (think the chocolate did it) - I just had one of those 'Oh my goodness' moments!!! You'll find his foam bullet shooter in the place you hid it last time he 'accidentally' shot you in the back of the head!!
DH is taking me out to lunch so think i'll just give the floors a clean before we go. Speak soon xx0 -
It's on top of the cupboard Dusty......
Hope you have a lovely holiday (and feel better soon, maybe it's nerves).
I've unpacked my bookcase into the top box of the wardrobe. Started doing DH's bookcase but I can't find the boxes we kept. I assumed he put them in the garage but I can't see them. Maybe they're in the back of the car, must remember to ask when he comes home lunchtime.
Otherwise, just pottered.0 -
Dusty - have a great holiday and a lovely birthday. Am I right in thinking it is tomorrow?

Will post photo of C.O.D.'s progress when I find the darn cable for the camera...
Kids sitting down to "eat" their lunch, have just finished the MOST indulgent chicken sandwich ever, free range chicken sliced and fried in olive oil with garlic paste, then covered in mayo... mmmmm... am in heaven!
Sending Healing Vibes in LL's direction, hope she's out and recovering by now.
Hoping everyone is having a good day.
Any suggestion re how to get stuck drawers open would be much appreciated....?June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

I've been up half the night with DD who is ill again. She has a very sore and red throat, temperature, and her tummy hurts more than usual. We've already been to the doctor's this week, so I am at a bit of a loss to know what to do next. I can't give her ibuprofen because she hasn't had anything to eat, and says her throat is so sore that she can't swallow...
I've tucked her up again in bed to try and sleep, and I'm going to declutter DS2 to a friend's in a minute, while OH is still home. I have a dentist's appt at 1pm, and as it's to repair a broken filling I really can't cancel, but hopefully by then DS1 will be awake (he was out last night. Apparently Thursday is the new Friday)
In between, I have a shop arriving from S'bury's, and I also want to clean the bathroom. I intended to do the fridge while it's pretty empty, but I'm not sure I'll have time...
Right, best wishes to L-L.
Dusty - pack!!!! Have a great holiday!
eta - abandoned this post this morning as DD needed me - so DS1 posted for me!It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
I have decided that I am so lazy, no getting away from it. How do u all get the motivation to get doing ur housework......have emptied the DW and refilled it...I have been poorly so u can imagine the washing is getting ridiculous. May try a list and tick the jobs off as I do them.....0
