Thanks for letting me know... all the weather sites are confusing me as they say different things. It's not snowing here yet (I don't think... don't want to go outside ;) ), but I'm finding it difficult to plan what to do when the information is so vague!

I've just checked... it's not snowing - the sky is clear and the moon very bright, which probably means that its freezing hard!

I don't have to leave home until just before 11 tomorrow, which should give me time to clear the drive (assuming there isn't too much more snow) and for the roads to defrost. I do need to think about my afternoon gym session though, as its in Basingstoke, and the road is a nightmare in bad weather. It certainly doesn't look as if I'll be venturing near the office any time soon!

He said it's just beginning to settle on the verges, not deep or anything, but is very cold - I know weather report said -5 windchill tonight in that area so will definitly be frosty tomorrow... good luck!

Thanks... the weather's peculiar round here. My brother's in Winchester and has been fine. Basingstoke grinds to a halt at the merest hint of a snowflake (and always has!), but it also appears to have its own microclimate... I frequently find I leave here in one kind of weather and get to Basingstoke in something completely different!).

So far every time they've said that the snow will be north of the M4, we've still got some, but I don't supposed the snow-clouds pay much attention to the motorways...

Hampshire, Berkshire and Dorset have a severe weather warning for tomorrow anyway... ice... dangerous roads... think I'll stay at home again :D

I did something today after I got over the usual wierd 'zombie like' state I seem to get in. Went shopping in the afternoon and nearly passed out a couple of times, proper knees buckling stuff. Had to hold on to a few walls, wierd. Nearly rang my OH to come and collect me but managed to get home.

Anyway at around 6.30pm I began to feel better, well normal actually. So got on and got going.

    WM X 2

DD2 room completely gutted and rearranged.

So thrown 4 large binbags of rubbish.

    3 bags to charity shop.

    1 snapped canvas wardrobe binned.

1 large chest of drawers removed and they'll be relocated in the shed when it's daylight.

1 small wardrobe and drawer set (ebay purchase) collected and put in her room.

    Worksurfaces in kitchen wiped.

Bins emptied from DD1, DD2, our bedroom and bathroom.

    Dining table wiped.

I really would like to tackle our bedroom, it needs rearranging, but it's late and OH would not be happy if I started moving furniture about.:D

It's snowing here, kind of hoping for a snow day but don't reckon we'll get one.

Think I'll make a doc's appointment and explain my washed out, pretty non functioning thang that I've got going on. I can't even think properly. Odd.

Anyway well done to everyone, and Soappie, how could you, poor, poor baby.:rotfl:

  • ooh triker honey that doesnt sound good at all - glad you will be going to the doctor about it.
well done on that cracking list - DD2's room must be totally different. you certainly have turned over a new leaf and are getting to grips with your jobs too!

Thank you for the list, I'm in again this week.

Today I made 'Twink' hobnobs, I now appreciate what everyone has been raving about. I was in two minds whether to make them on not, as it would mean that I would have to use my 'clean' oven, but decided now that it is 'clean' it should take a lot less effort if after each time I've used it, I just rub it down. (I MUST MUST DO THIS).

    Nite

Just popping in to say 'Hallo'. I'm doing well with all of this...Almost flying....fluttering really LOL.
I'm kind of avoiding the puter though, otherwise five minutes turns into half an hour.
For the first time, like, ever, I don't have a wash pile. There are a few items only at the end of each day - not enough for a load in itself. I'm happy with this :)
That said, my kitchen is a bombsite at the moment, but after four hours cooking and indian meal for tea tonight, I reckon I can cross that bridge tomorrow :)

    Hope everyone is well!
Proud to be dealing with my debts :T
