Right thats it, I've sat up here long enough surfing. Also had a webcam chat with OH as he's at work tonight and wanted to practice for when he goes away on another m/cycle trip in May.
The kitchen is still like a bomb site and I have washing to sort, uniforms to sort, lunches to make, food to put away and more.
Hopefully will pop in tomorrow evening to say hi
Night all

I'm in - and I'm GOING TO DO BETTER THIS WEEK!!!!
Last week was a wash out as we've been sorting through a load of smoke damaged/smelly stuff that we had stored in OH's dad's loft (he had a rather large fire a few weeks ago) so we've been trying to sort out boxes of stuff we'd forgotten we owned and nothing else has been acheived...
Our house inspection, due last tuesday, was cancelled due to the lovely weather - so it's happening on Tuesday this week (i'm just praying for snow again!!) and the house is a state. I have a half day tomoro so hopefully will achieve something...
Will post my list tomoro when I get home from work & when I have worked out what needs to be done to get this pit looking habitable!
OOoooo....in our sorting out of stuff we found a spare battery for the bathroom scales - whoo hoo I thought....then I weighed myself - I've put on 8 pounds since xmas - I lost 2 stone last year and have been a little bit too proud of myself - I think this is payback!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm off to bed - all that accounting and sawing has made me a tired bunny.
I will have to give the dog big, big hugs when we get to bed. I opened the back door for a bit to air the place this evening and then closed it again a little later - not realising the dog was outside.
I fed the cats and wondered why there was no little four-legged friend begging to lick the fork (I always feed the cats first). Opened up her tin and took it to the utility area to decant into her bowl. Still no four-legged. Opened the back door and there she was outside all upset and bothered and wondering what she'd done wrong. She slunk in with her tail between her legs looking most miserable.
I felt so guilty! I gave her a big fuss then and apologised but I don't think she's forgiven me yet.
Roast dinner was really good. There's enough chicken left for my sandwiches tomorrow and soup tomorrow night.
Washing up is just about done. Two more saucepans to go then I'm brushing my teeth and going to bed.

I am in this week - last week was a disaster so my plan is at least level one each day - it should be possible to work and keep the house under some sembalance of control (well with 3 little terrors off on snow days last week it was not possible) I have to get the ww eating plan back under control as that disappeared along with the flying:rotfl:
Kitchen is a good start as that is the only room under semi control at the moment.0 -
I'm most upset... Pigpen's been giving out medals for last week's stars and she and toots haven't noticed that I completed all 5 days last week...

Dustykitten unfortunately we don't have any hot water bottles, although I will definately be buying a couple in the next couple of weeks to put away for an emergency.
MOzzy? I think it was you who asked, we are off to the Czech Republic with some friends (he is Czech), I'm not a good skier but our youngest and their youngest are beginners so that shouldn't be an issue this year. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
