Toots - the dog always sleeps on the bed with me - at my feet. She's better than a hot water bottle!
Dusty - good luck with your off piste liste!
Triker - hope the doctor sorts you out.

We've had heavy rain overnight (it kept waking me up) and it's quite heavy at the moment. Looking at the rainfall radar we've even more to come in the next few hours. But at least there's no snow.

But, need to bathe, make sandwiches and head to work

    Have a safe day all

    Have a good day all

  • Hi please count me in again.

This week has been a bit better and have had two nights full sleep. ( only took two years)

I have done quite a lot of housework off the lists but didnt post progress. Have my list in hand and will report back tonight what I have or havent done.

I was never the most tidy person in the world but now I am at home everyday it really gets to me.

My big job for the weekend is clean my oven then wipe everyday and then I will not have to do it.

Cheers for all the hints and tips.

    Morning all

Got up earlier than usual and contemplated using the extra time on the kitchen, but caught up on here instead. Raining heavily here and has been all night. Have a feeling I'm going to have an unsatisfying day as I bet they won't want to walk if it's still raining this aft...oh well. Better get going for my train, have a good day all, don't chat too much so I can catch up this eve ;)

    Morning all,

Well so far I haven't had "the call" yet to say I'll be doing supply, but I suppose it's still a bit early to tell as sometimes schools can ring fairly last minute. I've got up and dressed in my school stuff just in case, as there's nothing like a mad panic when they tell you you've got to go into a school that's 30 minutes away at 8.30am when they start at 8.50am!

Have just had my breakfast, and I can guarantee that OH has left his washing up on the coffee table, so I'm going to go and wash up the cereal bowls and tea cups and get myself a fruit juice. I'm really making an effort at the moment to eat more fruit, as I'm not very good at doing this, so have had raisins on my weetabix and the fruit juice counts as one portion too.

It's wet and miserable here this morning and still very dark! Makes you want to go back to bed and hibernate (well any excuse works for me being a dormouse) lol. Keeping fingers crossed that I have the morning off then I can finish off my list and also see if I can clear the bedroom floor of laundry.

Drive safely everyone who's setting out in icy conditions.

    sexymouse xx

    Morning all!
I'm ahead already :T cos I had an energy surge last night and did some washing up, cleaned the worktop and broke the back of tidying the table next to the sofa. Hee hee! I also filled a bag with rubbish, and put loads of empty bottles/cans/plastic bottles in the recycling bags.(dh doesn't believe in throwing anything away when he's cooking! :rotfl: Just grateful that he cooks tho)
Am only working for 3 hours today so hope to do some more flying later.
Going to catch up on the thread and then have a bath, and then go. See you all later xx

    My list for today:
Tidy sofa - moved the stuff on to an armchair, does that count?
Wash up – one sinkful done
    Tidy LR floor
Tidy sofaside table - half done
Heel balm on heel AM PM
Clean out cold bag – spilt cream in it and a creamy sock from where I missed the wash basket!

Does anyone read anyone else's list
