  • Thank you for this - deal I took out last year with CPW is just about to end. Got 12 month line rental cashback from that deal with no problems so glad to deal with them again. Also went through Quidco who are offering £30 cashback so well chuffed.

Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.

Or better still, go through Quidco and get £25 cashback!

Shows as £30 now - even better!
  • If I were to take up this offer, can you still take out the contract sim card and use a PAYG O2 sim card in the phone instead thus skipping the expensive call costs on that tariff.

Am I also understanding this offer right? I could sign up for this deal, get charged £20 a month and as long as I send back the bills on time I will eventually get the whole lot refunded and at the end of the 12 months I could cancel the contract. For the 12 months I could use my PAYG sim in the phone and therefore get a new phone for absolutely nothing! Oh, and if I go through Quidco I end up £30 up? Is that right?

EDIT: I've just checked out the specs and have decided this phone's not for me. Good deal for someone who want's it though.

Again-you are 100% spot on. Why do they do it? Because they calculate enough people will forget to make their 1st claims on time...and invalidate further claims.

Has anyone had their bill and can confirm if 0844, 0845 or 0870 calls come out of inclusive minutes?

I ordered this phone and just received my first electronic bill. There is a box in the bill showing my invoice number. Is this the invoice number that I will have to look out for in order to decide which bill to send back?

For example, 1st claim ask for 4th airtime bill, I just print out the bill with Invoice number == 4 and post it back with the claim form, and so on and so forth.

    Invoice date: 13 March 2006
    Invoice number: 1
    Tariff: O2-LT + Combi

Offer also available at OSPS, plus with different tariffs (not 12 month free though).

I would not touch OSPS even if they offered 100Pounds more in cashbacks!

Just received a text from CPW:
Pls note thte 14 days to insure your mobile is nearly over. Call Carphone Warehouse on 08000495600 to cover you mobile or to stop texts. From: Carphone Warehouse

I do not wish to insure my mobile, do I just reply the text or should I call the 0800 number?

    thanks.
