  • Hello All
Raychee do not worry a job with your name on it is only around the corner:grin:.
I was at home all day today so I had a NSD. however it's half term next week:eek:. How do others survive on a tight budget when its wet and cold outside, but you still have to entertain:confused:? (in the old days my mum used to just open the front door telling us to be home for lunch) Now its a different story:mad:

Ps Flying_fresian where did you get your fab warrior from.

  • Hi All

Have blown it today!! Didn't take any lunch to work with me, so had to by a sandwich...while I was there, bought a magazine too and then followed up by buying two coffees :o (these were medicinal however, as have been feeling very cold and sniffly today...am curled up on the sofa with a hot water bottle and fleecy blancket now!:p ).

So, the damage is that I am £3.84 over my budget for the week....

Hey ho, will try not to be too disappointed as was trying to stay under £8.45 which was quite a tall order!!

Total spent for me was £13.12 last week, so mark me green Pointy :rotfl:

Can I please put myself down for £30 again? I am going to be including all food spends in this as I have been to the supermarket and Makro and there should be no excuse for me spending on any more than milk/bread.

  • Morning everyone I have set up the thread for this week's challenge here

Sorry Raychee about the job not nice to hear. But as a wise friend of mine says things have a way of working out one way or another. You will find something. Maybe that job was not meant to be and the next one will be much better. I have my fingers crossed for you.:D

Hooray. I stuck to budget again. Not a penny left though  (I put my leftover pennies into a savings jar) so all of the £10 has been used.

Raychee - I know how you must be feeling. I've had several unsuccessful interviews in the past 6 months or so. Sometimes it gets me down a little, but I'm determined and know I must keep trying. Something will work out soon, and it'll be the ideal job.

Next week I'm going for £10 for everything. I've no plans or anything I need to buy, so I should manage.

    Looking forward to the future.
