Well being ill has its advantages, yesterday and today have been NSDs. I haven't really felt like eating which is very unlike me. I have been off work today and not sure if I will make it in tomorrow. I also missed uni tonight, hopefully I will be able to catch up easily enough.
Sounds like the rest of you have been doing so well. :T:T:T:T:T:T
Sazzledazzle don't worry about spending small amounts and not making the NSDs that is exactly what happened to me in January but Feb seems to be going much better so far. I am sure you will crack it.
sadsadjenjen I just avoid IKEA nowadays as it is too expensive a hobby. I never manage to leave there without spending at least £50 (usually on candles and the like)
Lula_Hula I bought furniture polish a while ago thinking it would be environmentally friendly but judging by the little symbols on the side of the tin it seems like quite nasty stuff but it does make the wood look lovely and I have never been a fan of aerosol especially ones with the fake forrest fresh smell they make me feel ill.Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

After a bad a couple of days had a NSD today.
I think there will be a lot more of them hubby yesterday put on a 4 day week and a massive threat of redundency. Already stream lined most excess spending with the loss of his overtime over the last 6 months which use to make up a big bulk of his wages Now with a 20% cut in his basic wages really don't now how we are going to manage Terrified about the morgage..

If I can manage another NSD tomorrow I will have just over a tenner left, which will go towards my PADs. As I still have the sniffles, I'm going to go for this and see how I get on. I might be meeting t'other half for a hot chocolate when he finishes college though so I'll see how I get on.
Hope all the other sniffly people are feeling better.
Xx
*edit* Won't have a tenner left as my £5 voucher from Bingoport came through for Amazon, so I have bought a half-price hardback I've been coveting for £8.49 - voucher so a spend of £3.49. Woo me!! I wish Bingoport would realise this has gone through and let me spin the flipping wheel though...0 -
Just wanted to tell you that I have caught the Nsd cold and it is a stormer !!! It does mean I have spent -£4 this week. I had spent nothing and then took lightbulbs back to a shop (while doing grocery shopping) and they insisted refund was much higher than it should have been. I said once that it was too much but when they said no it was right I didn't have the energy to argue. I just put the money in my purse. I suppose I should put it against the grocery shopping bill but I am so fuzzy headed with this cold I can't really work it out.0

Hey everyone, I know I'm way over budget but just thought I'd say i did manage a NSD today  :rotfl: .
PointyPenguin - you are so right about the polish; how harmful could beeswax be
pretty blimmin toxically devastating  according to the tin
when this tin runs out ...eventually - I shall have to try to find an eco alternative, well as long as it's on the furniture rather than down the drain or in a landfill or the fishtank should be ok  does look fab .
Still working on next weeks budget ...

I've spent an absolute fortune today... but, I have a job interview tomorrow and needed something to wear! If all goes well and I get the job, I'll keep both tops. If I don't get it, then the one I don't wear for the interview goes back!
Fingers crossed that I can keep them both!

Morning peeps, well i've well and truely confused myself with my spends this month. I have different budgets for different things and my £30 was meant to cover everything. I think what i've done is buy food and added it to one of my totals and not another so i've left myself wondering how i can have so much left in one pot and not the other. I've also had a commission cheque arrive (eventually!) that we're using for driving lessons and with all the o/t me n my OH have been doing i've not been on the ball with things this week. It's my own fault coz i usually write everything down and i just havent been doing that lately, so i'm not really sure what i've spent minus gc money this week. I'm going to go over the figures later on tonight when ds is in bed and hopefully come up with my figure so far. Wish me luck:rolleyes:£387.39/£196.46
