Hi All,
I'm in the red
I had £8 budget but spent £15.65. I had to go into town on Saturday and I refused DS a McDonalds so we went to a Cafe instead... £8.20 later and I was a bit miffed considering it was 2 ham & cheese panini's, a ribena and a latte . Then there was the £1.50 for parking and on Sunday I had to spend £2 on The Sunday Times so I can go to the cinema for free in a couple of weeks and we were treated to lunch by my brother but I had to put £3-ish into the tip pot.
So I have £10 this week but the good news is; it's free money.:T Sort of  At work we often run out of milk so I go to the shop, get it and keep the receipts until it totals up a bit, then I cash in my "milk tokens" :j
I have spent £4.72 today already though. £3 in the £1 shop on Crisps for packed lunches, wagon wheels for lunches and a box to put DS's Thomas the Tank Engine toys in. And I had to buy decongestant/catarahh tablets as my sinuses are playing up.

Hi everyone!
Had a bit of crazy weekend , spent £25 but that came out of my entertainment budget - it was my friends' wedding reception and needless to say a fair bit of drinking was done - still feeling the effects now
Sunday I was at theirs all day and we had takeaway (must stop the takeaway habit!) then I spent £4 on the bus home, which is not being taken from my travel budget because I was silly and didn't top up my Oyster card.
£8.50 spent, so £6.50 left to last me the week.2019 Aim: Save £10,000

Spent a whopping 55p today on milk and so far that has been it. Have to admit I save so much money by taking my lunch into work, fortunately, i work in quite an isolated spot and there are no shops to be tempted by. When I worked in the City I could easily spend £10 a day! Today is the first day of not smoking so that's another £2.50 saved. Excited by not spending money, how sad am I? Hope everyone had a good day.Not massively in debt, but possibly heading there!0

Well done on the not smoking Maccababe - I quit in September and you definitely notice your money goes further without the ciggies!
I had a NSD today, so my £20 note is still in tact. We'll see how the week goes though...0 -

flying_fresian, your money certainly goes a lot further and you don't have that worry of having (although you always do, funny that) to find money for fags. using that money for the kids b/days in july, always somewhere else for it to go.Not massively in debt, but possibly heading there!0

I had my 5th NSD of February (not in a row... unlike some super DFWs!)
Am having my haircut tomorrow. But that will come out of a different budget.

I failed horribly last week!!
Well over by about £5! So not actually that bad!
Did however spend a bit at the w/end! So have had a NSD today to make up for it! I don't think I'll join this week, need to get my haircut again and stuff but will pop in to keep me on track!Just keep swimming0 -

Sadly going by my snug trousers, my ciggie money is now going on cake :rotfl:
Rather have a nice round bum than be a smoker again though!0 -
