Is i-mode any good?

I am looking at changing my phone, a samsung D500 ,which has been brilliant for the last year and is looking very battered.

I have been looking at the D320 Samsung in the o2 shop and they are promoting i-mode . It looks like a good phone but its free browsing until the end of March. I like the idea of some of the websites kelkoo, ebay,maps etc but which ones do you have to pay a subscription for?

How much is it going to be to access after the free period is over.

Is this phone anygood? or should I wait a couple of weeks for the D800 I know they are bringing out.
I don't know how interested I shoud be in this whether I am going to be disapointed in the quality and speed etc.


Anyone who's got one or had experience of this type of phone I would welcome your advice .
