Currys Online have told me that I have only 14 days after delivery date to return and replace a cooker that I now want to change, is this right?
is it working days or not and why is it not 30 days as per distance selling regulations?
Please help as I am now at 16 days
Thanks

Why do you want to change it?
DSR is 7 calendar(?) days from delivery AFAIK, not 30 days, unless they don't mention the DSR in their T&Cs in which case it is longer.0 -
Also if you want to return it (and the item is not faulty) you have to pay for return delivery costs (unless the contrary is states in the T&Cs).
Also, where did you get the fact that Distance Selling Regs is 30 days?"An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0 -
Well unless there is nothing up with it they are well within their rights! If its faulty then thats a different matter but if there is nothing up with it then they are right and you are outside the time!Weight Loss - 102lb0

DSR is 7 days. The goods are for inspection only and must be returned in perfect condition.
I think it depends on the companies T&C wherever you have to pay the postage. Some companies charge a restocking fee too, if they feel the goods are not perfect.0 -
I want to change it as it states it is silver in colour but in reality its an off green, this doesnt help the appearance of the kitchen (for selling purposes).
Doesnt matter now as its obviously too late but thanks for the replies0 -
Well if it is a different colour to what they said it is that is a different matter I would have thought!Weight Loss - 102lb0

Is the cooker still listed on the currys website? Which is it? Is it still listed as the wrong colour? Even if you have left it too late it was in the end the wrong colour and not as was stated - quote Trade Descriptions at them when you speak to them. They are misrepresenting products they are selling!Weight Loss - 102lb0
