Something of a crisis at Snidely Towers this evening.

Just as Eastenders was starting we had a call from the little old lady next door asking for the missus to go round. Ten minutes later an ambulance arrives and Paramedics go rushing in. It seems that Ann found Joan in some pain and on the floor so she called an ambulance. Joan had a nasty heart attack a couple of years ago. The paramedics reckon that Joan has had a thrombosis in her left leg so they carted her off to Basingstoke hospital with their lights flashing. I guess they will observe her and watch for an embolism.

We had to call her son to tell him which wasn't very pleasant and are left looking after her ginger cat who hates me

I guess we will hear more in due course.

Gingerchick HOW are you gonna make a scorpion costume ?????
I wish I was creative !!! Liam has to dress up for world book day next week and I'm stuck. He isn't sure who he wants to be so we may get his dads black bow tie and a blazer and send him as James Bond.:o

Well, got black trousers, black top, bought some girls over the knee socks, going to stuff them with newspaper and attach 3 pairs of legs to the black top.
Then another sock will be stuffed with paper and form the tail.
A bit of face paint to make some fangs on his face.
How this is all going to look I've no idea, but it's the best I can do.
I'll post a picture of the finished effect and see it you can tell what it is.:rotfl:

And big respect to you and Cathy for the organising you do in school
At the kids old school I used to get involved with the arranging of events, but having just moved and now working full time, haven't done so in the kids new school.
I suppose I should really as it would allow me to get to know some mums.
But it's always the same people who get involved, isn't it. But parents soon complain if the easter/xmas/summer fair isn't on!

But just been to the school for a kids/adults quiz and bingo night, and oldest came home with an easter egg as a prize for a colouring competition, so he was chuffed.
Had a good time and the kids enjoyed it.

Elderly neighbours are a real responsibilty. I nearly killed mine once, I couldn't get him to reply when I knocked and rang one morning so I called the Police. They went through my house and broke into his back door. He nearly had a heart attack when they walked into the bedroom, he'd had a bad night and was having a lie in :o

    Hope yours is better soon.

  • Thanks guys for all your kind words about my son being ill
He is the reason i havent been on for a few days.
I took him to the doctors and its not Chicken Pox, he doesnt no exactly what it is but......... he said its not contageous and he seems to think its a reaction to a really bad ear infection that he has, as he has bad excema and sensetive skin due to loooooooooads of allergies.
The spots are still all over his face the poor thing and he is on anti biotics for the ear infection, have kept him off nursery and had him home with me while i was at work.
If the spots dont go by 2moro have to take him back again and get some steriod cream see if that helps - they are reluctant to give it to him all the time as his skin is only delicate (he is only 2) and it thins the skin.
He has had it loads already for excema so trying to stay clear
He is covered in calamine lotion and is now nicknamed Casper rofl
Hope u are all well and im off to catch up on my comps :D
