I started to well up as soon as it started!

My mum has only seen my DS a couple of times and my DD once since she was born! She will be 2 in April. Since I left home, my mum has not bothered with me/us at all, which, considering what we went through together growing up (no details but pretty horrendous) - we were all so very close because of things and now, I still find it really really hard thats she's now decided its 'her time'

I completely understand that when all your kids have left home and you are able to start doing things you've always wanted to do, then go for it. but to almost lose contact with your kids? I can't understand that at all. And now that I'm a mum myself, I can understand it even less. It hurts so much sometimes, especially because we had such a special relationship when I was growing up.
I will always, until the day I am no more, do everything in my power to let my kids know how much I love them.

Anyway, so sorry for the ramble. feeling a bit emotional with all the very sad stories in the news at the moment I think.

    xxxxx
EXTRA GOOD LUCK EVERYONE FOR 2015. XXX

    Emotional Speech warning!

Today I have been inspired to get off my butt, get some fresh air and get my garden up-together by someone who said they were feeling down, Chris, you lifted me, now lift yourself xx

And then... I've been moved to tears by PMS for making me realise how lucky I am to have such a strong supportive relationship with my parents, again, I have so much respect for you for being such a lovely Mum yourself xx

What is it about this place that brings a little bit of everything together in one place? is it that we are all dreamers? hoping for that one (or maybe a few more than one lol) chance at something we can only dream of?

We all feel a little scalded by recent events, a little less trusting and perhaps even a little less caring, but lets not lose it altogether, I bloody love it here xxxxxxxxxx
Thanks Nicky I just told Debi I feel better just 'talking' bout me garden, and everyone chatting back,, sometimes you get more from cyber freinds than actual people you meet if you know what I mean:A
Thanks to all OPs:AThe Real Chris
