Ok I will contact the site owner and ask if he objects to the answers being posted on MSE,

I have posted the following to the site owner hope that this is ok!

    Hi Brian

I am a member of the MSE competitions forum (Money Saving Experts) posting as Amilucky? a member of the forum has posted the answers to the Private Eye Crossword no 385 on this thread here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1510997 which may have been obtained from your site

quite a few fellow MSE members have said that it is morally wrong to post the answers on a public forum without obtaining the site owners permission and would like to know how you feel about your answers being posted on MSE

please could you let me know how you feel and if you object I will request that the offending post be deleted A.S.A.P.

if you object to your answers being posted would it be ok to post a link to your site to let fellow MSE members know that the answers can be found on your site

    Kind Regards
    ********** (Amilucky?)

will update when I get a response ;)

Update: I have received the following reply from Brian the site owner of http://www.brital.talktalk.net/crosswords.htm

    Message reads

    Hi **********,

I am not really bothered that someone should post answers copied from my webpage, though it seems strange that the person concerned went to the trouble to spend the time to type every answer (at least one of which has been incorrectly typed), when it would have been simpler to have posted a link to my page.

I have already received a meesage from another MSE member, highlighting this matter and implying that the the person who posted the answers, seemed to be giving the impression that it was all her own work. Either way, I am not really concerned.

    Regards,

    Brian

I have PM'd Diva with the site owners response ;)

    Regards

That sounds like my kind of garden Chis.

Mine is too small to do much with tho we have lots of shrubs and do our best for the wildlife. Not much of it just now but we are waiting on the baby blackbirds.

My neighbour has a daffodil in flower

    I won't even have a balcony when I move..
but theres a bit of communal grass out front and out back of the block of flats, so thats perfect for me, as I don't have to maintain it :D

right, if I come back in later, shout at me, I want to get my packing finished tonight as much as possible and I know I'll wander in here when I get bored :rotfl:
