Think Paul's probably right toniq - although I'm further north than you, so you can do everything a bit earlier than me - still have my cyclamens in flower (just) in my pots - won't put violas in for a couple of weeks yet, and then summer bedding plants a few months after that.
I don't really do anything this time of year - all pruning and bulb planting was done late autumn, so I'm just watching my crocuses and daffs come up - got lots of dwarf tulips in too but it's a bit early for them.
Still a risk of frost (only a week since the snow went!) so I wouldn't personally plant anything this early as you can just be throwing your money away if we get another cold snap

Is your OH mad, JW?
Thanks for all the good luck vibes, people. Anyone who's seen my Facebook will know how perfect I am for the job. Thankfully, one of my references is the Beatles' original promotor from the 60s (He's over 70 himself and I've known him for 5 years now).
I may get around to entering some comps this afternoon; still in my PJs in a messy room but enthralled in movies.0 -

Thanks Toniq,
I must admit, won't tell him though! He can do most things. He's built the extension and done all the work cept plastering and electrics.
Hes a landscape designer by trade but because he's done such a good job on the kitchen, hes got two paid extension jobs lined up! Really good job though, because his own business (like many) is struggling a wee bit.EXTRA GOOD LUCK EVERYONE FOR 2015. XXX
