Hi all, had an horrendous morning in YATES.

I had some IN DATE Tesco Clubcard Deals vouchers, when I checked with Tesco they said although you can't get anymore for YATES the ones I had were still valid so I took MIL with us for lunch. Went to order at till, took vouchers out to pay the cashier said sorry can't take them anymore so I said I'd checked with Tesco who said because these were in date I could use them. Cashier called manager over who became very rude & aggresive towards me, saying 'you know you can't f@@king use these so why are you trying it on' I was mortified! I turned round & said to DH we're leaving, MIL was sat at a table with the kids so I walked away to tell her we were going elsewhere, manager followed us shouting across at us to leave because we refused to pay! People were turning round to look at us, it was horrible :mad: :mad: :mad:

I have spoken to Tesco who have said to send the vouchers back to them then they will be recredited but I will NEVER step foot inside that YATES again.

my godmother's hubby (the man with a van) is free next Sunday so he's coming to help me move :j:j:j

PMS how awful, I hope you're going to write and complain, the manager had no right to talk to you like that.

Princess, that is shocking. I mean, vouchers and mystery shopping have both lured me into shops and made me become a regular customer so they really should have treated you with respect, and swearing in front of your kids. Niiiiice. What a knobhead....write to their head office.

I have just filed off a complaint on the YATES website, I am absolutley LIVID!

PMS Thats disgusting service! I would consider writing to head office, that behaviour, especially from a manager is just unacceptable. Hope you're not still too upset.

PMS that is terrible, agree you should write and complain. Hope you are ok and not too shook up by it.
