Morning all, well after yesterdays disaster - please don't ask I really don't want to go there - today seems better already. DH on a MASSIVE sorry task now, he's done kids breakfast, sorted the kids board games out & generally done some housework but he's now got to sort my slow cooker out so we can see what we can do for tea tonight. Hope everyone is well xx

    Good morning Lovelies.

So Swansea played the Mighty Whites off the park. That was so Fulhamish. Never mind there is always the replay. It would be so typical for Fulham to thrash Man Utd in the week. They have done it before.

Gonna roast pig for dinner and some chicken to build a pie with. We only have two mushrooms though so I think I will add some sweetcorn instead.

Well I ran. And I did the full distance - it's so hard at the halfway point running past the end of my road and not going home! I ran the whole distance today too (walked some of it on Friday), so I'm pleased. 1 hour 4 mins... still got 4 mins to take off that but I'm 3 mins quicker than last year already. Just need to keep at it now.

Right, best get showered then (OH tells me I need one!!)... and we've got leftover pizza for lunch! :):):)
Life is all about the journey.
  • We're trying our slow cooker tonight so DH sorted out a beef casserole - will let you know what it comes out like.

  • Really wanted to try cooking a whole chicken in the slow cooker today but did not get around to sorting it early enough so will just pop it in to roast now. At least that makes for delicious tasty potatoes though!

The weather has been lovely here today and I ventured out to tend some of my specimen plants on the patio. It was so peaceful out there, OH has taken the kids out as one has a birthday party invite and they are gonna do snow tubing and toboganning at a ski centre in Plymouth. I hear it is going well.

Gonna get on with some comps for a while and try to resist the leftovers from last night's Valentine chinese takeaway gift! Have munched through half a sack/bag of prawn crackers already

This may seem a silly question but what would be classed as midnight?
I know it is at night time but I am just wondering regarding competitions closing
If for instance a competition closed on Monday 31st at Midnight is midnight one minute after 23:59 on the Sunday night, or one minute after 23:59 on the Monday night?"

I have this argument on a regular basis with my son (who beats me at Trivial Pursuit on a regular basis - Yes Toni, he knows even more weird stuff than I do! A truly "Random" family!) and his p**s taking wife ( I love her, really, because she is so quick and shows absolutely no mercy!)

He says midnight is 12.00pm and midday is 12.00am, but he's wrong!

Midnight is 12.00 midnight and midday is 12.00 noon.

So, the answer to your question is Monday 31st, 12.00 midnight.

He also says "How do you clear a room?" answer; "ask my dad about his interests!"
  • Hey all, hope you are all ok???

Still in a lot of pain - but they said i would be for a few days.

Have to go the drs in the morning - need another note for work.

    xxxx
