i would not worry as it states that in order to activate your account enter your membership number which comes with your first delivery.

Request sent to Quidco to match the cashback!

Topcashback has no £5 annual fee and no minimum withdrawal amount so you could still go via them and just withdraw the £5. I used to use Quidco but changed to TCB as you get the same cashback amounts or higher plus top-up cashback of up to 10%; no £5 fee taken from your earnings and bigger choice of merchants (as Quidco do not have any of the merchants which are on the Affiliate Window network like Graze, IWOOT and many others). Tracking and customer support seems better at TCB too (so far).

Sorry to hear about the card problems people are having. I guess we will find out tommorrow when they can be contacted by email or phone?

They must have changed the sign-up process since I joined last year as then they just sent you an invoice with the chocolates. You also got a membership number on your invoice and could pay online or by post. You could also cancel your mebership online but I am not sure if this is still the case?

There are actually two seperate urls : chocs.co.uk and hotel chocolat so perhaps they are going to integrate them?
