never had hotel chocolat stuff before but are the milk and dark ones with alcohol in them as the solid ones state they are without?

The selection boxes vary with all sorts quite often some alcohol in some of them. Most of them you get 2 of each type so great for sharing with someone else. Also tend to get some chocolate batons as well

Chocolates to be enjoyed, not chomped. You get tasting notes, a marking card as well with them.

I'm pretty sure they send out non-alcoholic club boxes now. I used to have a sub but they kept repeating the same chocolates month after month so I cancelled. At £1.95 I wouldn't argue though!

Does this only apply if you actually join the club afterwards, or do you only have to order an introductory box? Topcashback says 'join hotel chocolat tasting club'.

As far as I know ordering an introductory box is joining the tasting club. I have joined before so don't qualify for the offer above; but when I did order my introductory box last year I got an email saying welcome to the Chocolate Tasting Club and I got a membership number with the introductory box.

The introductory box used to be £9.74 so it has come down in price.
A box of posh chocs for £1.95 (after cashback) is a bargain.
