I have had 10 phones repaired or replaced by vodafone in 13 months! Currently my n96 crashes 3-4 times a day, the screen light doesn't work, and applications refuse to open.

Vodafones answer to solve all this...make sure all running programs are closed!

Have u tried a hard reset *#7370# BEWARE you may lose your contacts and some other installed stuff if you use this code,(I will not be held responsible) or have u tried updating the firmware using Nokia Software Updater, you may be on the most recent firmware, try *#0000# this will tell you your current firmware installed search the net for allaboutsymbian it is a wealth of info for smartphones.

I got one that was on Voda and it was very buggy but debranded it and updated to the latest vanilla firmware but this is something that will void your warranty(didnt matter to me as I'm on PAYG and bought the phone second hand)

Yeah, hard reset on thursday, phone crashed within the hour of doing it! I have the latest firmware that vodafone have released (which is somewhere behind the latest vanilla version)

Since the screen light doesn't work properly anyway I guess I will be taking it in for repair anyway. I have had so many problems, i don't want to void the warranty by debranding just yet! Though I have debranded phones in the past and will do it again when needed
