Do you have any paper work for the loans??

If not might be an idea to send a Subject Access Request (SAR) to them for all your information. It will cost £10, but they have to release every little bit of information the have on you as well as anything relating to the loans.

The letter you need is on here somewhere (sorry, rubbish at links) I expect someone will be able to point oyu to where.

You are now free to take this complaint to the fos as they have not upheld it in your favour and sent you their final response.

If i was you then I would now get this into the FOS if they are within the jurisdiction. It might be good to ring them and ask if citiFinancial were a member of the GISC (General Insurance Standards Council) too as if they were not then the first two complaints would maybe fall outside juridisciton. The one of 2005 would be ok if it was after 14th January, 2005 when all sales of insurance were regulated by the FSA.

CitiFinancial should be within jurisdiction as they are a bank.
    DS1 12/10/04
    DS2 13/07/06
    DD1 06/12/07

Please try and locate the paperwork - I did and copied them with my MSE letter - 1 request in Dec 2008 and just last week letter from Citifinancial - full refund + 8% interest = £700.00.
