My friend has an Egg card and this appears on her Experian credit file.0

Most credit cards firms share their customer payment records with all three credit reference agencies, but each firm will usually only carry out a credit check through one agency. So... just because an Egg account appears on an Experian report, it doesn't mean Egg carries out credit checks through Experian and so on.
The credit scores you can buy from the credit reference agencies are only guides and can't really be compared agianst each other as they'll be calculated in different ways. And at the end of the day it's the lenders who assess your applications not the credit reference agencies. Lenders' scoring systems will be quite different and will take account of information the agencies don't have, such as your occupation, salary etc.“Official Company Representative
